1. Registration starts at 10:15 am
2. Register at the United Church (corner of Park & James Streets), by 11:00 am or it is subject to the discretion of the committee as to whether you will be judged.
3. All registered floats and heavy horses will receive prize money in the mail.
4. Float drivers are asked to include their name and mailing address for prize payment.
5. All entries using theme will be given first consideration when judged.
6. All Heavy Horse teams are asked to lineup on Ross St.
7. NO ARTICLES AND/OR CANDIES, ETC. TO BE THROWN FROM THE FLOATS WHILE IN THE PARADE.
8. HAND OUTS ONLY
9. No extra riders on tractors
10. Please observer Farm Safety Rules when operating machinery.
 
 Safety First-School Children's Float
 The committee asks that parents use Park Street only for student drop off. Due to traffic congestion and the presence of horses it is in the best interest and the safety of the school children that they be dropped off in front of R Villa Retirement Residence on Park Street beside St. Andrew's United Church to meet the school float. Please refrain from using MacDonald Street, Tain Street and James Street during parade line up time. Thank you.
 
 Prizes in Sections 1-4 will be: 1st $20.00; 2nd $17.00; 3rd $15.00 and $10.00 for each additional entry judged worthy.

2. School/Church Float
3. Float with live music

4. Commercial Float

5. Organizational/Church Float
 
Prizes in Sections B, C, D will be: 1st $5.00; 2nd $4.00; 3rd $3.00 and $1.00 for each additional entry judged worthy.
B) MOTORIZED ENTRIES
1. Decorated Child's Motorized Vehicle (age 10 & under)
2. Decorated Child's Motorized Vehicle (age 10-18)
3. Decorated Adult Motorized Vehicle
4. Decorated Lawn Mower

C) CHILDREN'S ENTRIES
1. Decorated bicycle/tricycle
2. Costumed parent and child with wagon, cart or stroller
3. Costumed child with pet
4. Best Costume with Rollerblades
 
D) PEDESTRIAN ENTRIES
1. Best Costume (age 12 & under)
2. Best Costume (age 13-17)
3. Best Costume (age 18 & over)
4. Costumed Adult with pet
5. Largest Costumed family with theme
6. Anything in the parade that did not receive a prize that the judges feel deserve a prize
 
Prizes in Section E will be: 4 horses $35.00; 2 horses $30.00
E) HEAVY HORSE HITCHES - Include on Heavy Horse entry form to receive prize money
